Fools’ Night

“The right to be a cussed fool is safe from all devices human, its’ common (ez a ginr’l rule) to every critter born of woman.”   –James Russell Lowell

The First Issue is sent to the printers. The venue is booked for the launch party. And I’m feeling foolish for not realizing how much work is involved in creating a literary magazine! Did I forget, when I signed on to this project, that I have a full-time job and my own writing schedule to maintain? So what’s a few sleepless nights in the pursuit of good literature, it was worth it.

For those of you who will be in the Norfolk, Virginia area Friday, April 1st, we hope you’ll join us at The Venue on 35th for a night of foolishness and folly! Share a true or fictional story, a poem, a song, or just share in the fun.

When: April 1st at 7:30 p.m.

Where: The Venue on 35th (631 35th St, Norfolk, VA)

Suggested donation: $2
